Kirsty Bayliss, Ph.D. 

 

Associate Professor in Murdoch University, Australia. She is a plant pathologist and has worked on plant diseases affecting many crops including pastures, legumes, and oilseeds as well as native ecosystems and plantations. Dr Bayliss has also worked in plant tissue culture and plant breeding, specifically in the production of doubled haploids and molecular marker-assisted breeding.  She visited Soilborne Lab. once:

Krishna V. Subbarao, Ph.D. Prof.

 

Professor in Department of Plant Pathology, University of California, Davis, USA. Krishna V. Subbarao was born in 1958 in India. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in plant pathology from the University of Mysore, India, and a Ph.D. degree in plant pathology from Louisiana State University (LSU). After short post-doctoral stints at LSU and the University of California-Berkeley, Subbarao joined the faculty of the Department of Plant Pathology at the University of California-Davis, where he is currently a full professor. His research focuses on the etiology, epidemiology, and impact of altered production practices on pathogen ecology and on elucidating mechanisms of disease suppression attained via cultural manipulations. He is serving as editor-in-chief of Phytopathology and has served either as a member or chair of a number of APS committees. He is an editor-in-chief of Phytopathology since 2014. He visited Soilborne Lab. for 2 times:

Steve Klosterman, Ph.D. Prof.

 

Research Molecular Biologist, USDA-ARS. Steve Klosterman obtained his B.S. degree from Wright State University, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in plant pathology from Washington State University. His research focuses on airborne disease. He is the lead scientist, USDA-ARS, Plant Disease, senior editor of Phytopathology.  He published many high rank research papers in Phytopathology, Annual Review of Phytopathology, PLoS Pathogens, Fungal Genetics and Biology, etc. He visited Soilborne Lab. for 1 time:
